Daily Duties at Town Sports International/ New York Sports Clubs:

For sales, fitness and operations managment of up to 6 fitness clubs measured through specific KPIs that resulted in overall profitability and customer service in line with company goals. Drive membership sales, daily reporting of revenue, forcasting, ensure safty and service expectations were met. Responsible for facility operations and sales management of six, 1,500 plus member New York Sports Clubs (NYSCs). Senior management responsibilities included: facility operations and maintenance (O&M), analysis of daily sales, Club budgets, succession and capital planning, professional resolution of employee grievances, mitigating potential company lawsuits, recruit and hire managers and membership consultants, interviewing and skill assessment for positions as Managers, Sales Consultants, Customer Service Representatives, Janitorial/Maintenance, Childcare, Health Coordinators and Wellness Experts, and leadership training for general managers (GMs). Mentored GMs of three different NYSCs in sales and member retention programs while maintaining job responsibilities of Operations Manager for home Club. Consistently attained district growth by meeting, and often surpassing corporate sale goals, carefully balancing club expenses with ancillary services, and focusing on member retention programs that exemplify the NYSC corporate customer satisfaction standard of “maximizing the member experience.” Recipient of corporate sales honors; “Top Performer Award” in 2009. Developed, marketed and managed popular NYCS programs that included afterschool sports clubs and camps for kids, community outreach activities, senior health and wellness services, pool programs, aerobic classes and spa services. Gained valuable experience responding to operational emergencies related to flooding, fire, pool maintenance, construction and health and safety issues.
