Daily Duties at First Data/Telecheck Services Inc.:
Managed a staff of 50 of outbound check collectors who contacted customers to secure funds from bad checks written to merchants and clear accounts. Manage a budget over a million dollars and break it down to individual budgets to be collected in the month given. Recruit staff monthly to ensure proper coverage monthly We partnered with the local college placement office and held interviewing sessions on campus of the University of Houston, Texas Southern University and Houston Community Colleges monthly and called potential hires into corporate office for final interview and to offer positions. approve timecards weekly to produce payroll bi-weekly. Manage and administer corrective action daily regarding time and attendance. Monitor calls to avoid abuse and meet federal communication guidelines.
