Daily Duties at Expeditors International Of Washington:

Provide customer service, logistics, and operations support to client base of 70 accounts with primary accountability for WalMart, the company’s highest volume account producing more than $1M per month. Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including import/export, customs, and shipping/distribution to ensure compliance and ensure timely delivery. Serve as liaison and foster collaborative relationships with US Customs Agents and Compliance Specialists to expedite processing, meet rigorous deadlines, and ensure customer fulfillment. Conduct audits of shipping documentation and bills of laden; resolve discrepancies to ensure clearance; monitor process flow relative to KPIs and generate customized tracking reports. Manage special projects focused on vendor selection, contract negotiation and warehousing.
