• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures. • Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives • Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures. • Oversee the company’s 401(k) plan administered by ADP and maintain adequate records for the plan. • Responsible for the oversight and timely renewals of all insurance programs (e.g., health, dental, general liability, etc.). • Oversee company Human Resources (HR) policies, procedures and practices. • Manage and train a staff of five.
