Daily Duties at Edp Renewables . . . Formally Horizon Wind Energy:
* Created a Planning / Scheduling department * Developed a Master schedule template for all aspects (cradle to grave) of developing, engineering, procuring, & constructing a Wind Farm. * Developed unique schedule templates for each state EDPR (Horizon) had projects in. * Developed & monitored project schedules for each EDPR (Horizon) Project. Approximately 40. * Developed management/company visibility for all projects. * Involved with developing company business plan. Spread proposed budgets according to the proposed schedule. * Worked with Estimating Dept. to estimate projected costs of constructing proposed wind farms. * Lead the implementation of a Document Control system. * Lead the creation and implementation of a Lessons Learned collection tool and process. * Taught several scheduling and Microsoft Project courses to other employees. * Co-Lead the implementation of Project Management training (PMI format) for Project Mgrs. & analysts. * Trained in First Aid and CPR.
