Daily Duties at American Express Technologies:
Manage, coordinate and monitor data center infrastructure including operational strategy, space planning, and control to optimize efficiency and data security. Oversee and direct efforts of contractors and alliance partners to assure 24x7x365 site monitoring and support of data center infrastructure components. Develop methods to maintain infrastructure components such as UPS, PDU, HVAC, fire protection and detection, and emergency power systems, including testing and preventative maintenance. Research, procure, and manage suppliers, including contract infrastructure engineering, within strict budget constraints. Analyzed work and data flow to develop usage-oriented metrics to senior management
