Daily Duties at Lowe's Hiw:
Fully stock shelves with new freight, operate power equipment to move extra product to top stock. Write out daily worklists to assign specific daily tasks for each member of my team, inspect displays for cleaning or repairs as needed, keep aisles clean including operating the Zamboni, refill brochure holders throughout the department, walk department to verify inventory counts are accurate and update system with any changes, order inventory for replenishment as necessary, approach customers in aisles to help them with their shopping experience, follow up on previously sold jobs to update status on products ordered and received, call customers with updates, pull products for installs and deliveries sold out of my department, assist associates throughout the store with manager overrides as needed, train associates throughout the store on procedures to keep daily business going, resolve any customer issues and complaints. Reponsible for ordering/purchasing product for department, new and current. Analyze sales for product to determine quantities to have in stock at all times. Consider capacity issues for products on hand and on order. Advise team of sales figures and what the daily, weekly, monthly, quartly, and yearly sales objectives are. Analyze customers project plans and add on sales required for proper installations. Offer credit and installation options. Keep track and manage my teams and my time. Manage and document company resources/product. Moniter suppliers for any issues on products supplied, quantities available, lead time, and cost. Negotiate cost reductions with manufacturers and installers for large jobs. Supply quarterly reviews with upper management.
