Daily Duties at Kgs (Kforce Government Solutions I Nc):
Serve as key member of KPMG Audit Readiness Team charged with preparing Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for 2017 audit. Interface with clients to gather information / documentation and manage expectations. Perform FFMIA, FISCAM, and other reviews of owned or managed systems. Conduct research, mine data, analyze transactions / data files / financial statements, evaluate results, advise on corrective actions, and prepare deliverables. Document business processes and internal controls; ensure all documentation complies with Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) business rules & requirements. Assist with creating repeatable / sustainable file retention / retrieval program. Control and manage financial resources; develop budget / expense forecasts in alignment with strategic and performance planning efforts. Deliver presentations to secure approval from agency Director. Represent agency and support agency position on OSD working groups.
