Daily Duties at Hewlett Packard:
• Oracle 10g data warehouse administration: Designed, tested, implemented and performance tuned tables, views, indexes, packages and procedures using PL/SQL • Created and maintained ETL schedules and processes utilizing Unix shell scripts, Oracle stored procedures, dbms_scheduler, materialized views, and Data Stage ETL software • Worked on team and individual development projects to deliver data warehouse and BI reporting solutions that helped improve efficiency, information security, data integrity and customer satisfaction • Led SDLC projects utilizing a team of database developers from Pune, India and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia • Led the development of OBIEE business intelligence reporting for our largest client Verizon • Created advanced queries for quality assurance of reports using PL/SQL and SQL Plus • Administering Hyperion corporate portal with over 1,200 internal and external users over distributed server environment ensuring 100% uptime during production and off hours • Training of external clients and internal client teams on the Hyperion Portal and Hyperion Insight Business Intelligence tool • Designed business intelligence static and ad hoc reports in Hyperion, XCelsius Dashboards, OBIEE, and Crystal Reports • Accountable for the creation and administration of Microsoft Access databases with over 40 company users. • Provide off hours support as required
