Promoted from Department Supervisor to Distribution Manager within two weeks of hire; coordinated all inbound and outbound functions including unloading, checking, storing, order pulling, labeling, and loading all factory to warehouse shipments of semi-finished goods, as well as all outbound shipments to customers with attention to detail and accuracy; ensured accuracy of all manifests to factory; oversee small production department; direct supervision of 25 employees, which included one department supervisor, maintenance supervisor, and office staff; direct communication with LTL and truckload carriers to schedule outbound loads; ensured adherance to safety and housekeeping programs.
