Daily Duties at Fuchs / Steel Casting Engineering:
Lead designer Responsible for leading the Electrical Engineering and R&D Departments with a total staff of ten. Developed steel casting control system for continuous steel caster. Designed and coded High Voltage Analysis and Short Circuit Impedance calculation programs (written in C and Assembly Language). Designed and supervised hardware and software implementation for a Process / Motion Control System for steel arc furnace. The department had a staff of approx. 10 people that included 4 Hardware Engineers, 4 - 6 Software Engineers and 2-3 Technicians.
