Daily Duties at World Space.Inc:
Promoted to take charge the Director of Administration and Security as well as my original post of Director of Travel Services. Led administrative services for 14 global offices, overseeing an $18 million annual budget. Supervised facility managers at each location to ensure proper building maintenance and space allocation. Supervised risk management and negotiated with insurance carriers to resolve issues. Coordinated onsite staff at each office for inventory management, office services, shipping and receiving and fixed asset management. Audited internal expenses and recommended areas to maximize performance and reduce cost. Directed a team of contractors to build out of 14 office locations in various worldwide sites, including negotiating leases, establishing procedures and recruiting/staffing offices. Established security policies, systems, and processes for all offices across the globe which served to control theft, premise liability and worker productivity. Managed and maintained all aspects of corporate security for 14 offices worldwide, ensuring 24-hour video surveillance, controlled access and employee/visitor monitoring in order to mitigate risks of crime, terrorism and natural disaster. I was in charged of my departments budget and was adhered to flawlessly. Managed 24 people; Manged 24 employees. Supervised and coordinated with 14 facility managers in London England, Paris and Toulouse France, Erlangen Germany, Addis Ababa Ethiopia, Nairobi Kenya, Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai India, Melbourne Australia, Dubai United Arab Emirates and Johannesburg South Africa, to ensure proper building maintenance and space allocation, inventory management, office services, shipping and receiving and fixed asset management. Directed and coordinated with team of lawyers and local facility managers to negotiate new lease, Established procedures on selection the right contractors , collect bids, check references and picked the team that built offices in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, Nairobi Kenya, and Bangalore India and supervised the progress.
