Daily Duties at Capital One Bank:
- As Branch Manager, I was accountable to producing results in all areas of branch responsibilities, including sales, operations, and customer service. This was accomplished by following district, region, and bank-wide directives and sales goals. I managed and coached daily a team of 10 associates to achieve these goals. As we were a slower branch, I was also responsible for going outside of the office to generate leads, make cold calls, and visit with current business clients to heighten their customer service experience. - Through my appointment as the Mid-Atlantic Region Loan Captain, I was responsible for monthly strategy meetings to discuss our lending procedures, rates, and products. I also disseminated lending product and procedure information to the field. A large part of my responsibilities with this position was to be the contact point for the field with regard to any policy or rate exceptions that need to be made, or if there were ever a poor customer experience problem, I was contacted to make the situation right with our customers.
What they like about Capital One Bank:
You highly value a work environment built on a formal structure, rules, and regulations. You do not enjoy the unpredictability of shifting priorities and deadlines that upset your routine. You require and enjoy direction, input and accountability as part of your work environment. You have a strong need to participate in making key decisions and feel left out if your superiors or co-workers do not seek your input when making decisions. You thrive on providing good customer service to both internal or external customers, and doing so makes you feel good.
