Daily Duties at Rural/Metro:

An EMS supervisor can work in a variety of medical support organizations ranging from hospitals to ambulatory services to paramedic rescue support. The EMS supervisor also plans and evaluates the delivery of services for the medical organization that he or she works for by coordinating with other fire rescue and paramedic organizations. The EMS supervisor works in a dynamic environment which is fast paced, especially if employed in a large metropolitan area. The position can be stressful, challenging and contain long hours.
