Daily Duties at Ochsner Health System:
To audit providers via Risk Catagory. Random selection of both new and established patients reviewing the documentation, procedure notes, ICD-9 codes as well as modifiers on each note then to educate either one on one or in groups on deficiencies found during the audit. Information will also be provided to the Lead Physician and Managers to take action on those error which could pose a threat to recoupment of monies.
