Daily Duties at Dubai Airports:

• Manage social media for Dubai Airports, Facebook (www.facebook.com/dubaiairports), Twitter (@dubaiairports), Google+, Linkedin, Instagram and Youtube by increasing consumer awareness, commercial opportunities, recruitment, brand positioning and advocating direct customer relationships through social media. • Create and manage all internal and customer service communications channels and vehicles including the intranet, extranet, newsletters, corporate broadcasts (email, webcast and sms), staff notice-boards, presentations, writing and proofing all copy and design to ensure consistently high standards of communication and timely distribution. • Develop a communications strategy for HR and Service Development to support their employee and customer service communication requirements to ensure effective and measurable communications plans are in place for major events and/or developments (ie, product launches, corporate events, etc). Work closely also to synchronise company news and messaging internally and externally, as appropriate. Collateral for product-based initiatives like the Al Majlis, charter flight services, special needs propositions as well as assistance with service related information like airport maps, FAQs for staff and stakeholders etc. • Establish strong working relationships with key business partners across the company and stakeholder groups (including Emirates, Dnata, Police, Customs, Immigration) and provide ongoing communication strategies, as necessary. Responsibilities include developing effective channels and timely vehicles that support new initiatives, product launches, or other relevant company-wide information • Manage and co-ordinate with various in-house and external suppliers to produce and distribute employee and stakeholder communications collateral, in print, electronic and broadcast format. This includes items such as posters, leaflets, information booklets, manuals, emailers, DVDs, and staff giveaways. Also, manage the work of external suppliers in the production and delivery of corporate publications such as the corporate newsletter and the Annual Review • Write articles on the activities and latest developments of the company and on the activities of staff for internal publications; encourage departments to contribute such articles for wider dissemination in order to increase internal awareness. • Pro-actively identify and execute new and innovative ways to communicate to the diverse internal and stakeholder audiences of Dubai Airports and research and evaluate new media publishing mechanisms and recommend how best these can be used within the company.
