Daily Duties at Georgia Pacific:
Quality Manager • Active member of the safety committee • Conduct annual Quality training with hourly and salaried staff • Conduct root cause analysis projects to improve reduce defects • Responsible for all Quality returns and credits • Responsible for producing Quality alerts so employees are aware of Quality conditions • Conduct customer visits to ensure complete satisfaction of all manufactured product • Drive and manage converting recipe cards • Develop best run settings for corrugators • Conduct center lining training and monitor the machine conditions for variances • Conduct performance reviews for direct reports • Responsible for all trial runs of any new business • Conduct reports • Ensure Quality equipment is operational • Drive positive reinforcement through incentives with hourly associates • Assist with design and product improvements
