Daily Duties at Bekaert Textiles Usa, Inc.:
Plant Process Engineer-on a daily basis I meet with teams to asses progress & act as mentor, identify future projects to acheive plant goal of about 70% redution in scrap, mentor teams & managers in more effective management techniques/ Interim Maintenance Manager-manage crew of 8 maintenance men day to day, management maintenance inventory, direct technical control of process & facility maintenance, purchasing of all parts, supplies, services & contractors and maintenance inventory/ Quality Assurance/QC along with another QA manager in day to day oversight of process quality in finishing, extrusion and inspection departments/ plant Six Sigma Black Belt-write SOPs and WI, implement process projects and act as mentor to production partners, primary quality contact for the #1 problem customer (#2 $ volume customer of plant), work with personnel in other Bekaert plants worldwide to address sourcing, process, quality, efficiency, technical and other issues.
