Daily Duties at Zenith Logistics:

My responsibilities include opening dock doors and inspect trailers for cleanliness; input proper trailer numbers into a computer; monitor freight to be loaded to ensure stable pallets, proper lane staging and proper loading into trailers; securing loads upon completion; close dock doors and tag trailers ready to pull from the dock; contact personnel via radio to remove/insert trailers; make proactive decisions regarding dock flow, such as entering a designated route into another door so that freight can be moved from the dock; coaching and disciplining employees per union contract and Zenith facility policies. Maintain efficient dock flow by identifying loader needs and opening and closing trailers in a timely manner. Ensure that company safety and labor policies are followed. Ensure facility is clean and free of debris per company guidelines.
