• Member of the Prudential Real Estate Investor (PREI) LA Executive Committee. • Member of the PREI Global Technical Committees (Finance, Risk Management and IT). • Managed a team of 35 professionals across LA, including Financial Reporting, Corporate Finance, Corporate Treasury,Information Technology, Facilities Management, Internal Controls and Taxes • Initiated the operational conversion and modeling of two private real estate funds for an IPO in the Mexican Stock Markets. Major highlights as follows: o Identified all necessary modifications in the internal financial reporting, controls processes and systems to comply with the rules and requirements of the Mexican public market regulation o Conducted specific hires to complement the Financial team with the necessary expertise in public markets o Coordinated a cross functional team (including external legal advisors) to prepare a business plan to ensure the timely and accurate implementation of all necessary modifications in the Financial structure within the timeframe of the IPO • Revamped the whole Financial function of the LA Region, improving the work processes and delivering accurate and timely Financial Reports to the Investors. • Implemented a regional budget controls and reporting, enabling the Senior Management to take timely and accurate business decisions. • Conducted financial model assessments for new products to ensure alignment with financial and business objectives. • Spearheaded a global, cross-functional work group that designed and implemented a new single IT platform for the Company. • Participated in a global, cross-functional team that created a new Client Service Processes and Systems, improving the quality of the relationship of its customers. • Coordinated the transference of the back office activities and personnel from the Rio de Janeiro's office to Mexico City, adding operational efficiencies and improving integration between the support and investment areas.
