Daily Duties at Union Pacific Railroad:
I am a licensed and certified locomotive operating engineer. Safely operate loaded and unloaded multi-unit car coal, mixed manifest, inter modal and distributed power trains. Perform distributed power linking and unlinking process, separate bad ordered cars for repair and perform FRA daily locomotive inspections; Responsible for the safety of the crew and/or passengers aboard the train and the safe transportation of goods from initial to final terminal while abiding by the rules governing the movement of the train.
