Daily Duties at Corning Cable Systems:

 Management of product life cycle  Establish short (within the year) and long term (5 years) product line strategies  Coordinate with Technology to establish New Product Roadmaps  Establish new product requirements and respective business case that justify the allocation of technology and capital resources  Identify in conjunction with Technology, Procurement and Manufacturing Engineering, suitable cost reduction opportunities  Coordinate with Sales and Commercial Marketing to establish monthly product demand forecasts  Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering and Plant Management the right sizing of the operations according to demand forecasts and profitability targets  Monthly review of P&L statements. Establish action plans that ensure product line profitability  Manage cross functional teams to facilitate quick resolution of quality issues  Coordinate with Applications Engineering, Technology and Commercial Marketing to establish and validate product value propositions
