Daily Duties at The Metropolitan Museum Of Art:
Responsible for all aspects of production, coordination and stage preparation of the 708 seat Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium as well as Metropolitan Museum gallery spaces such as The Temple of Dendur, The Medieval Sculpture Hall, The Great Hall, The Engelhard Courtyard and The Lehman Wing. Specifically, I: • Directed all aspects of staging for the successful production of over 150 concert and lecture events per year. • Scheduled, coordinated and managed all production logistics for corporate and not for profit special event rentals in the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium. • Allocated, scheduled and supervised work routines of assistant stage managers and technicians. • Designed, reviewed and approved finished work and looks for staging including sound, light-ing and prop placement. • Verified that films, slides, source equipment, PowerPoint, Keynote and videos were in good working order and ready for presentation. • Scheduled and maintained control of in-house calendar for the use of the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium by other Museum Departments. • Notified appropriate departments of deliveries, gallery set-ups and changes in daily operations.
