Daily Duties at Sprint Nextel:

As a Sr. Project Manager/Leader, I was promoted to provide overall project team leadership and guidance. In this role, I was accountable for managing all required project documentation, gathering project requirements to ensure deliverables did not exceed the approved scope of the project, challenging business decisions to ensure projects were in alignment with customer satisfactions, and working cross functionally with multiple business units including IT, Marketing/Product Development, Direct Sales, Engineering, Customer Care and Finance to implement projects and initiatives. New responsibilities included managing project activities and communications to the project team and stakeholders, acting as a key liaison between the business and IT to ensure alignment of business objectives, providing project reporting and status to Senior Management, stakeholders and Executive level leadership, assisting teams in defining project tasks, schedules, assumptions, deliverables, risks, gaps and dependencies, and aggregating project metric results to identify if objectives have been met.
