Daily Duties at Time Warner Cable:

As a Program Manager, I was promoted to form strong relationships and work collaboratively with multiple areas across the enterprise to inform the work underway on standardization and simplification of project management processes and standards, to improve the best practices of the project management community, contribute to corporate project professionalism and to ensure compliance with existing standards and practices. I am accountable for successfully running complex programs and/or projects for the Network and Systems Engineering organizations. My role includes maintaining a strategic focus on the overall direction, management and coordination of their programs. New responsibilities include managing a team of 8 project managers, 3 project consultants and a current total of 35 individual projects. My increased responsibilities also include: full budget management, resource allocation, contract negotiation, metrics reporting and daily interaction with C-level executives. I establish and/or oversee the establishment and execution of project plans, project road maps, risk management plans, and other project governance processes and procedures. Additional responsibilities include: • Working closely with Vice Presidents, Senior Directors and Directors from all regions to complete strategic and tactical tasks relative to the Community of ONE initiative as assigned. • Leading enterprise wide preventive maintenance programs • Facilitating JAD sessions with the divisions and cross-functional teams in regards to QA test plans, test results and deployment issues. • Ensuring that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. • Managing deadlines and risk by creating visibility with status reports and dashboarding. • Providing executive level MS Powerpoint presentations which include program status, issues and mitigations. • Facilitating Weekly Program Status communications to include milestones updates, major program elements, risks and associated mitigation plans. • Creating, maintaining and performing analysis of integrated program master schedule and resource plans.
