Daily Duties at Atk:

• Responsibility for the human resources functions in a manufacturing facility. • Supported staffing, employee relations, training and benefits administration. • Advised the management team on promoting staff, evaluation, feedback and recognition techniques. • Review yearly trends; develop yearly goals that are implemented to improve daily processes. • Oversee the administration of Unemployment Claims by partnering with outside agencies. • Reviewed employee performance plans in relationship to the company goals, pay increases, performance requirements and the quality of performance plans. • Updated and implemented policies and procedures to stay in compliance with state and government rules. • Accountable for providing human resource serves for 1,500 staff. • Developed, policies and procedures for vacation, relocation, severance, progressive discipline and pay practices. • Maintains records, reports and logs to confirm to EEO regulations. • Provide consultation to management on associates with respect to performance management, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc. • Established working analysis to educate staff on how potential staff were rated, what to look for in future candidates and requirements of the selection process. • Executed staffing plans with line managers and recruiters. • Administered the performance evaluation process for each business area. • Developed training plans and improvement plans for under-performers. • Key player in employee selection and recruitment process. • Implemented PES improving productivity, profit and working environment. • Implemented flex time reducing overtime.
