Engineering Design / Installation / Construction: · Installed and configured WAN/LAN, VOIP ShoreTel and AT&T Genesis (maintenance only) Digital Phone Systems. · Built, configured, and maintained MS Server 2003 & MS Server 2008, setup for Video-streaming and VOD: Webinars, Press-Releases, KAPLAN Educational, and medical seminars, and Entertainment/Arts. · Installed, set up, and maintained CISCO Catalyst 3750G switches and firewall appliances for LAN. · Installed and configured Linux-based desktop Virtual Presence (ViPr) Teleconferencing/VOIP System. · Built green-screen studio facility infrastructure for in-house and remote live-stream production (fiber node-to-node and copper interconnectivity in facility backbone). Setup travel kits for remote production video-streaming /web-casting/webinars, and distance learning, live and VOD. Operations Engineering: · IT engineering-support on-site and remote monitoring during streaming operations. · Teleprompter / Interrotron operation for some in-house production and remote interviews. Troubleshooting & Repairs: · Studio and IT equipment, and facility infrastructure including power, control, communications and signal distribution systems. · Monitor, localize and measure heavy network traffic to minimize video drop-outs during streaming jobs using PTRG and other network bandwidth analyzers.
