Daily Duties at First Coast Advantage:

Directed operations for 20,000 Medicaid member health plan in Duval County. Developed expansion plans for coverage in surrounding three counties (Baker, Clay, Nassau). Oversight and management of plan operations, including network development, clinical care, quality, finance and I.T. and staff of 30+ FTEs. Responsible for $30M budget. Key liaison for all client and government relations. Created plan efficiencies through enhanced medical management, provider and member education, contract negotiations and electronic claims payment improvements. Resulted in steady monthly membership growth, near-zero complaints/grievances, and improved provider relations with physician groups and community providers (i.e., University of Florida, Duval County Health Department, and Renaissance Behavioral Health).
