Daily Duties at American International Group, Inc:

Managed staff of seven accountants. Analyzed all receivables related to premiums for off-risk client accounts. Determined and processed all necessary invoices and bookings to the general ledger for accounts with errors. Resolved billing disputes in cooperation with underwriters, brokers, clients and captives. Managed workflow and allocation of resources for a department of 50 accounting consultants (senior and junior accountants and support staff). Assigned tasks based on assessment of staff capabilities and ensured the accurate and timely completion of General Ledger account analyses of all Receivable accounts related to Premiums, reconciliation of all components of Cash Collateral programs and the billing and collection of all outstanding receivables due from clients.
