Significantly increased company profitability via Infrastructure and Systems upgrades, increased Scalability and High Availability, Consolidation, RTO/RPO via SRDF/TimeFinder, Replistor, SnapMirror , HACMP, AIX GPFS, Clustered, Load-Balanced solutions • Responsible for inter-departmental/Business Unit Technology Architecture. Mobility and Telegraph architecture on Avaya and Aspect technologies, ILM Tier-1 and Tier-2 Virtual/Thin Provisioning, Designed/budgeted/administered Wells Fargo Dealer Services NetApp FAS ONTAP filers; beginning with FAS3020 Filers; utilized for Essential Data; for the last 7 years throughout Pasteur, CA/ Alton, CA and Texas Data Centers; as well as Greenville, Lakewood and Tempe satellite locations Migrated NetApp file data to EMC VNX to allow continued Block and File data consolidation, Implemented NetApp Avamar NDMP backup configurations allowing increased backup efficiencies – allowing a backup window decrease from 80 to 5 hours weekly • DBII, Progress, Oracle optimization, scalability, High Availability, RTO/RPO requirements solutions. Redesigned Clustered Exchange, SQL, VMWare, HP UX to IBM AIX Virtualized LPAR Mission Critical systems allowing application consolidation, migration, SAN Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Disk to Disk solutions with SAN/NAS EMC SnapView/MirrorView, SRDF / TimeFinder DR infrastructure • Responsible for SAN Enterprise Systems ILM, TOGAF architecture frameworks, security, roadmap; SAN/NAS Network Operations. Designed, planned and Project managed the migration and consolidation of HP UX FileNet, Data Warehouse, SQL, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Credit Revue, Financial mission critical applications to IBM AIX LPAR virtualization solutions • Designed, migrated Unisys, MS SQL, IBM AIX systems from Brocade to Cisco MDS Director SAN fabric; Planned, designed and implemented IBM P570 AIX LPARs with virtualized resources • Managed the migration of FileNet OSAR to EMC Centera CSAR/MSAR solution to allow government compliances; Enterprise Systems and Infrastructure teams, vendor and contractor services • Designed and implemented Business Continuity, Backup/Restore solutions for Unisys MCP FC1600 and IBM ZOS Mainframe infrastructures supporting a transactional environment that is the third largest bank in the USA • Migrated Mission critical SQL three node Cluster from ClariiOn CX700 to DMX1000 SAN • Managed IBM, EMC, HP vendors; IBM ZOS mainframe/ Unisys MCP /IBM P-Series mainframe RTO/RPO Mission Critical requirements via TimeFinder Clones and SRDF ‘Gold Copies’ working with multiple Business Units and Technology Groups throughout WACHOVIA, as well as providing presentation solutions • Designed, implemented the migration, increased SAN Clustered HA and RTO/RPO needs via Replication of company’s Mission Critical infrastructures, allowing archival and governmental compliancy requirements via porting to EMC Centera CAS solution • Created SAN/NAS/CAS WDS standards, designed and implemented Tier-2 Cisco Backup and Development infrastructure allowing the eradication of end-of-life Brocade SAN, continued WDS SAN standards, High Availability, increased functionality and Scalability • Designed and implemented Cisco Tier-2 SAN Fabric Intelligent Enterprise Data Domain Virtual Tape Library (VTL) BC/DR solution for IBM ZOS Mainframe and Open Systems utilizing Cisco MDS Director Inter VSAN Routing (IVR) Zoning with Data Deduplication/WAN Optimization and VSAN standardization; allowing the elimination of tape at WFDS • Introduced significant cost savings via Assessed, Business Development, RFI/RFP assessments architecture of Private Infrastructure Cloud Computing at WFDS via Proof
