Daily Duties at Ibm:

Handled and resolved emerging technical issues across four NASA sites for operating system, software, hardware, and mobile technology. Maintained extensive troubleshooting documentation and collaborated effectively with colleagues and senior leaders to ensure best practices and optimize organizational performance. Computers were at all desks but employees had a lot of problems at this time in history because they had so many applications running that did not work together, we had to support DOS applications and windows. Each site at NASA had own issues, hired for JFK but as skills increased in supporting employees with their software, I was placed on JSC, (Johnson space center and then SSC and MSC- Stennis and Marshall) I was able to handle more than 100 calls a day (at the time a lot).

What they like about Ibm:

You highly value a work environment built on a formal structure, rules, and regulations. You do not enjoy the unpredictability of shifting priorities and deadlines that upset your routine. You require and enjoy direction, input and accountability as part of your work environment. You have a strong need to participate in making key decisions and feel left out if your superiors or co-workers do not seek your input when making decisions. You thrive on providing good customer service to both internal or external customers, and doing so makes you feel good.
