Daily Duties at Metro Pcs:
Provide strategic and operational leadership for advertising and PR functions, successfully building business in a highly competitive market. Launched MetroPCS in Jacksonville in 2008. Initially targeted economic and credit challenged phone customers looking for quality service at a more affordable rate than with traditional cell phone carriers. MetroPCS grew in technology and brand and branched out to higher tier markets that had more choices but still had interest in saving money. Regional Director of Advertising and Public Relations, 2/2008 to 6/2012 Drive brand awareness and sales into retail outlets through media planning, event sponsorships, and customer-direct advertising campaigns. Plan and execute traditional and new media campaigns, including rapidly emerging social media programs. Continuously track, monitor and mine data to measure ROI, working with media partners to refine and advance marketing tactics accordingly. Research and analyze competitor strategies and their impact. Develop and produce ongoing reporting for corporate and retail sales decision makers. Maintain multimillion-dollar regional marketing budget as defined by Finance executives.
