● Established current and long range departmental objectives, plans, policies, procedures and controls for the management and deployment of infrastructure systems to support organizational initiatives ● Created and managed budget, resource allocation and sets the schedule for solutions delivery to support the key initiatives. ● Sets direction and objectives for the Enterprise Architecture group and effectively manages the enterprise transformation initiative ● Developed, implemented and managed the overall enterprise process for security strategy and associated architecture and engineering standards ● Work closely with corporate executives, business managers, audit and legal counsel to understand corporate requirements related to security and regulatory compliance, and to map those requirements to current security projects. ● Technical executive oversight of internal & external audits, effectively ensuring audit staff manages scheduled internal audits of key processes and control of risks. ● Pro-actively engages with business leadership to understand their objectives leading to development of execution plan for team(s) to deliver on the strategic initiatives ● Responsible for technical operations support and performance management of all elements of the VoIP Network ● Managed security functions related to clinical information systems and data centers ● Developed, implemented and monitored software development policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance. ● Performed performance reviews for the direct reports. Interfaces with regulatory agencies on information management and information technology matters. ● Managed the development, implementation, installation, functional systems for the organization. Negotiates and contracts with vendors to procure resources and technology solutions to meet the strategic objectives of the department ● Prepared infrastructure development status reports and keeps executive management, clients and others informed of projects status and related issues ● Responsible for safeguarding all corporate data and monitoring the security of websites, applications, computers and databases ● Developed emergency procedures for handling security breaches, manage internal communication regarding system updates and provide estimates of budgetary requirements for technical upgrades ● Developed professional growth plan for the team through seminars, publications, trainings, conferences etc. ● Responsible for the corporation infrastructure business continuity and disaster recovery ● Responsible for the corporations Novell Directory Services (65,000+ users) Active Directory (55,000+ users and 9 domains), Email (54,000+), Internet (over 49,000 users), Desktops (34,000+), Physical Servers (AIX/Linux/Unix/Windows 2,100+), Blackberry Enterprise Server (1,900+), Virtual Machines (2,100+ Servers), SQL Databases (1,900+), Voice over IP (1,800 IP phones) Local Area Network (794 switches), Wide Area Network (493 routers), Storage (3.8 Petabytes of Storage (1 Petabyte = 1000 Terabytes; Could fill approx. 500 million floppy disks), Backup's (39 Terabytes Backed Up Daily (Equivalent to 3x the volume of the entire Library of Congress) and the clinical network/hardware infrastructure for the corporations Electronic Medical Record
