 Directed a cross functional team responsible for Sourcing, Purchasing, Planning, and Logistics.  Reviewed and approved buyers’ purchase order in day to day basis.  Managed domestic and international suppliers and vendors ensuring: cost, quality, and lead time requirements are guaranteed as part of the sourcing process. Provided guidance and took corrective action as necessary with Suppliers and Vendors relating to their performance.  Monitored and prioritized Supplier and Vendor’s outputs to assure that supply goals are met. Collaborated with Quality Assurance Team to solve quality issues.  Ensured the continuous availability of high quality company products for delivery to the Distribution Centers through the accurate forecasting of customer requirements. Demand planning and forecasting of products through coordination with product management and global sources.  Developed RFQ; performed costs, sales, profit and margin analysis of new and existing products, research of suppliers, vendors, and market conditions; involved in price and contract negotiation with vendors and suppliers.  Implemented supply/demand strategies and controls to assure customer service levels and inventory management goals.  Implemented Capacity Planning/Run-Rates, JIT, VMI, Material Flow optimization.  Managed inbound and outbound activities through coordination with company distribution centers.  Implemented ERP system enhancements through collaboration with IT functions.  Maintained and reported customer replenishment fill-rate levels.
