Daily Duties at Coda Automotive Inc.:

Established and implemented processes that ensure the CODA’s logistical strategy and operations are optimized to provide best-in-class quality, cost-containment and on-time delivery through appropriate internal or external logistical options.  Oversaw the movement of vehicles/equipments/parts to ensure the smooth delivery in accordance with policy and procedure, and to comply with relevant local, country and international law and process.  Collaborated with legal department to ensure dangerous goods shipment compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.  Managed, processed, and resolved all shipping complaint issues. Developed root cause & corrective action processes to ensure appropriate follow-up on shipping-related complaints.  Prepared the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective and lawful execution of all import/export activities.  Developed, evaluated, and selected new logistics supplier; negotiated rate, service, and contracted with supplier to reduce the overall costs of transportation, improve transportation efficiency or sustainability.  Evaluated the performance of domestic and international carriers and logistics intermediaries. Planed and implemented improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.  Reviewed, improved, and approved material packaging, handling techniques and processes.  Analyzed the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers. Implemented complex strategic make / buy decisions involving services and logistics needs.  Supervised the work of overseas logistics offices.
