Daily Duties at Coda Automotive Inc.:

 Develop CODA global sourcing and purchasing strategies for direct material and service. Direct the activities of cost reduction efforts at the local, regional and global levels.  Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing to ensure a new product launch on time.  Manage the sourcing deals, contracts, quality agreements, and delivery for a complete procurement cycle, ensuring the commercial and cost saving benefits are realized at the P&L, MRD and BOM level and ensuring on time delivery with the suppliers. Provide guidance and take corrective action as necessary with suppliers relating to their performance.  RFI/RFP/RFQ Development, supplier selection, pricing and contract negotiation, implementing supplier performance metrics and KPIs.  Implement supply/demand strategies and controls to assure customer service levels and inventory management goals.  Oversee purchasing activities, such as purchase order, forecasting, planning, cost reduction, and budget. Collaborate with other departments to integrate purchasing process.  Establish and leverage supplier relations. Ensure continual supply of direct materials which meet established standards and manages supply risk by determining when additional or alternate sources are required.  Ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency at benchmark level. Continuously monitor organizational performance including cross-functional interaction.
