Responsible for hiring and maintaining a successful working team of technicians, advisors and clerical staff. Keeping the entire staff motivated and to perform at a profitable margin. Made sure all training requirements were met each quarter. Conducted regular departmental staff meetings to keep every body in the loop and to motivate as needed. Maintain open lines of communication between upper management and personnel. implement problem solving skills. Conducted seminars for new car customers. Over saw all construction projects of the dealership working with the architech and all sub contractors. Maintain a current knowledge of product, technical, and equipment developments. This imformation helped us with using newer technology to reduce our operating cost of the dealer ship. For example, waiste oil heaters cut our gas bill down in half, using led lighting in the parking lot cut our electric bill dramatically. Also handled any issue with building maintenace and did the snow plowing during any snow storm.
