Daily Duties at Comprehensive Community Development Corp.:

Maintain operations and development for four Article 28 Community Health Centers, covering several specialties Supervise over 150 staff member, including Providers, Front Desk, Medical Records and Medical Assistants. Negotiated contracts for new services and assisted with the development of such programs. Evaluated and work closely with billing director to lower denial rates and increase revenue. Lead seven successful JACHO inspections. Lead the UDS committee for Reporting and compilation of HRSA grant applications and funding Prepared audits, ensuring all documentations are available upon request. Worked with HMO- provider representatives to reach QUARR goals and incentives. Implemented Medical Manager practice management system and GE Centricity Electronic Health Record Assisted in training Staff in Medical Manager Software and E.H.R Created and analyzed monthly financial and visit reports. Assisted in Decreasing accounts receivable by 92% and decreased write-offs to (by) 8%. Monitored anticipated revenue vs. revenue expected. Ensured compliance with all applicable government and funding agencies. Ensured practice compliance with current HIPPA regulations. Integrated outside consultants work with ongoing project management. Conduct off-sites to improve communication between the billing department and Front desk satellite staff. Developed two brand new medical center in the in the Bronx and worked with Architect to assure building met all DOH, OSHA and HRSA standards. Created a patient base of over thirty five hundred members in the first year of operation. Second year increasing patient base over 50%; resulted in 1.2 million dollars in annual profit.
