Daily Duties at United States Army:
Maintained equipment and performed preventive maintenance and repairs on Material Handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts, palletized loading systems, load-handling systems, high lift equipment Diagnosed and repaired electro-mechanical, hydro-mechanical and power generation equipment including fault isolation using diagnostic tools; operation of high lift equipment, cranes, winches and material handling equipment. Responsible for troubleshooting and repair on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems of Heavy and Light wheeled vehicles; conducted recovery operations using M88, HEMMTT wrecker and FMTV wrecker vehicles as well as perform maintenance. Responsible for weekly Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services of fleet equipment and performing scheduled maintenance on vehicles and trailers. Kept daily logs of man-hours and vehicle maintenance hours. Open and close all work orders verifying repairs and ensuring the strictest quality control standards in all Direct Support and Organizational Support levels of maintenance. Conducted fault isolation and repairs of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, engine, transmission/transfer and drive train systems for any faults on CAT, Cummins, General Motors and Detroit Diesel Engines.
