Daily Duties at Blue Shield Of California:
Responsible for the management and coordination of the activities of BSC’s software vendor, HP to support various business initiatives for the BSC Installation and Membership Department, whether they were planned or as a result of a mandate. Responsibilities include: working with the HP management team to coordinate daily and weekly activities of their project managers and programmers; facilitating requirements with Blue Shield business managers prior to the development of technical requirements; and reviewing technical requirements when they are complete prior to presenting them to the business for their review and approval. During the review of technical requirements, I determined the soundness of the solution and offered a different approach if it was a better technical alternative.
