Daily Duties at Ryerson Inc:
Responsible for developing, driving and executing a turnaround and overhaul cost structure of an entire facility (120 + million in revenue) challenged by major underperforming operating deficiences by strategically planning, directing, coordinating, ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provisions of effective methods, metrics and strategies for the success of the organization. Daily responsibilities include, cordinate, manage and monitor workings of various departments, review daily finacial data to improve profitability, control operational budgets and inventory, plan effective strategies for the financial well being of the organization, improve processes and policies,monitor adherance to rules, regulations, policies and procedure, organize recruitment and placement of staff, organizational structures, delegate task and accountabilities, supervise staff, Monitor and coordinate work of various departments involved in production, warehousing, pricing,logistics. monitor performance and implement improvements, quality of employees and products. Provide technical support where needed.Facilitate communication and coordination between support groups. Manage customer support, plan and support sales and marketing activities. Assit in the development of strategic plans for operational activities. Implement and manage operational plans.
