Daily Duties at Digitas:
Clients: The New York Times, American Express, Pfizer and Virgin Mobile • Manage projects to completion within scope, time frame, and budget, and ensure that all deliverables are produced at the highest quality and executed efficiently. Additionally, the Associate Director will be a trusted advisor to his or her clients and will help those clients define their business agenda • Identify client business and marketing objectives, in conjunction with project team, and conceive of and sell projects (scope, approach, plan, and deliverables) to increase customer acquisition rates, optimize sales performance (including improving cross sell and up sell performance), and improve long-term customer retention • Lead projects (e.g., the development and execution of an inbound call program) for clients, working within a team of Digitas, client, and provider/vendor personnel, and managing Digitas employees • Assess call center operational processes and practices, training and performance development programs, and telephony and desktop technologies to determine current performance levels, define gaps, and make recommendations for improvement • Perform mystery shopping and mystery calling benchmarking exercises, research best practices, and validate recommendations for improving the customer experience and operational performance in call centers, sales forces, and other face-to-face interactions • Design measurement plans, capture required data, and produce reports, that measure the effectiveness of marketing and sales programs in the various live channels (e.g., call centers) • Develop dialogue approaches, write scripts, rebuttals, and talking points, and create supporting job aides for call center agents • Take ownership for internal initiatives that enhance the operations of the Live Channels capability, including enhance the company knowledge base, improve the new hire on-boarding materials, lead capability learning sessions, and manage the employee development process • Lead the formal development of practice and methodologies through identification of client work and case examples that can serve as intellectual capital
