Daily Duties at Knbc:
Perform various administrative tasks, manage executive’s busy calendar, handle talent vacation requests, coordinate newsroom events, arrange travel for news director and talent/guests (including charter flights), coordinate news managers’ annual retreats, cater during breaking news/elections/holidays for 90+ staffers, process expenses, assist management and talent with news issues, handle on-air talent scheduling, pitch story ideas, coordinate office moves, maintain office supplies, and assist with managing the office. In 2004, I continued to perform all duties as HR assistant for 9 months until replacement was found. Spearhead clip licensing footage requests from within and outside production firms, and serve as custodian of subpoena footage. My resourcefulness allows me to solve problems instead of passing them on to the next level.
