Identify and/or create security controls needed to protect customer information Penetration test and perform security evaluations of the SoCalGas Meter Transmission Units and Data Collection Units. Provide information security awareness training and best practices as SME to numerous project teams. Advocate adherence to security policies and standards throughout the IT Product Life Cycle. Specify Information Security Requirements within project team initiatives. Conduct automated scanning and manual Information Security testing using Rapid7 Nexpose, Appscan, Nessus, nmap, Wireshark, and other security testing tools. Develop project documentation using Visio diagrams and Excel spreadsheets. Create Information Security Risk Assessments. Present Information Security risk analysis review to upper management and product vendor for remediations. Research technical data and perform vendor cost comparison studies Manage vendor relationships Help coordinate IT staff teams and project activities
