Executive Team Leader- Food, West Des Moines, Iowa November 2011 to March 2012 • Responsible for store’s overall profitability of $57 million annually. • Managed and mentored 6 Team Leaders, increased perishables profitability and increased food safety execution by developing consistent routines. Executive Team Leader- Logistics, Ankeny, Iowa August 2010 to November 2011 • Responsible for store’s overall profitability of $53 million annually. • Managed all Human Resource functions to hire, retain and develop team; reduced Logistics turnover by 5% to goal. • Accountable for stores’ overall brand in addition to managing visual merchandising and in-stocks. • Aided in development of 3 Executives and managed 3 Team Leaders; performed monthly leadership evaluations. • Developed strategic scheduling plan to accommodate to team and business needs while balancing payroll. • Received award for highest backroom location accuracy out of 60 stores. • Selected as District Safety Captain for attention to detail and drive for fostering safe working environments. Executive Team Leader- Assets Protection, Ankeny, Iowa January 2009 to August 2010 • Implemented programs to deter theft, fraud and operational shortage, decreased shortage by $137,000 from previous year, shortage results 4th out of 60 stores. • Experienced in safety planning, security management, investigative techniques, and case preparation & resolution. • Ensured Target guests, employees, and company property is maintained in a safe secure environment. • Nominated by district leaders as District Inventory, Process and Operational Shortage and Training Captain for 3 captainships due to outstanding shortage results and enthusiasm for development. Executive Team Leader- Assets Protection, West Des Moines, Iowa November 2005 to January 2009 • Responsible for store’s overall profitability of $32 million annually. • Participated in annual physical inventories, reviewed and analyzed final inventory reports, identifying high-shortage departments, planned and implemented shortage strategies. • Recruited, mentored, developed and promoted 2 Target Protection Specialists to Team Leaders. • Covered 4 additional Target Stores, trained and transitioned new and experienced executives into position. • Passed interviews resulting in a pay grade promotion 2007 and 2008. • Chosen as District Team Trainer by district leaders to represent Target, trained new executives. • Assessed and created action plans for 10 stores in district Assets Protection Assessment Captain role.
