Daily Duties at Air Force:

CEO. Personally responsible for all aspects of operations, including: logistics, communication, medical, and operations. Also supported all aspects of family support including schools, child development centers, retail stores, recreation facilities, a hospital, and a base coal driven power plant that provided all power for the base. Responsible to prepare, defend, and execute a $160M annual budget. Future planning was critical especially considering the effect of the arctic on facilities and infrastucture, the need for reliable facilities and equipment, and the limited annual window to operate outside and upgrade.

What they like about Air Force:

The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
