Daily Duties at Rite Aid Pharmacy:
As the Manager I am responsible for the daily operations of Pharmacy section of the store. Managed one pharmacist and four Technicians. Planned schedule, assigned daily task for effective work flow. Review applications for job, conduct interviews and decide who to be hired to work in the Pharmacy. Reporting to a supervisor in charge of the store. Print, review daily and monthly reports. Analyze the data to determine areas that need improvement. Manage the inventory so as not to exceed the recommended value and return the excess inventory to the warehouse. Prepare the store for annual inventory. Attend managers meetings when scheduled. Conduct meeting with those working in the Pharmacy and discuss areas of concern. Work within the planned budget to avoid going over the payroll. Listen to the concerns of the Technicians, advise and discipline when necessary. Fill and check prescriptions before giving to customers. Attend to customers complains and giving them the necessary support for continuous patronage. Calling for new prescriptions and refills from Doctors offices. Working with the Doctors offices to manage patients therapy in order to achieve good outcomes. Prepare and administer flu shots and other immunizations to both walk-in and those with appointments. Planned with the wellness representative in my store, to visit surrounding business offices and schools and have them enroll or make appointment to be immunized. Planned and held monthly events in the store to make customers aware of the benefits in the new wellness store while speaking on current health issues. Enforce HIPAA policy rules and made sure all associates comply. Balance the ledger for control drugs. Packaged drugs for home delivery to some customer.
