Daily Duties at Project Renewal:

o Provide primary care, urgent care, and preventative medicine and screening to homeless women and men in the shelter system of NYC o Offer comprehensive women’s health exams including annual GYN, routine STD screenings, and acute GYN issues o Partner with physicians, social workers, family, key caregivers, and any appropriate ancillary medical personnel o Consult with the appropriate medical specialists in accordance with Health Center protocol when necessary o Manage medically complex patients in absence of MD o Knowledgeable about current professional prescribing standards and consistently commended for accurate diagnoses and prescriptions o Order and interpreted diagnostic testing o Initiate appropriate and timely referrals as necessary
