Daily Duties at Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region:
Member of four-person senior management team of a $15 million affiliate that offers reproductive and limited primary health care, education services and advocacy to over 24,000 patients, more than 8,000 education clients and over 20,000 advocates and donors annually through 9 health centers covering 23 counties. Charged with leading the Public Affairs Department, all marketing, advertising, communications, and media relations functions. Responsible for demonstrating to the community that Planned Parenthood is the reproductive health care safety net for women and men in Southwest Ohio, providing affordable services for clients who either are uninsured or underinsured. Participate in the development and monitoring of overall annual organization budget of over $7.5 million; create, manage and evaluate budget for four functional areas of the affiliate: Public Affairs, Public Relations, Marketing & Advertising and Volunteer Management.
