Directed prototyping of new equipment and processes as requested by application engineering, maintenance, and R&D departments, as well as sales focus groups. Partnered with other departments within production facility to support a wide range of ongoing projects. Developed new fabrication equipment to meet customer requirements. Responsible for incorporating lean manufacturing principles in all manufacturing processes. Improved machine uptime by developing statistical and maintenance action plan.
